text 8 Jan Economic woes? Change your attitude!

My first “real” job was at www.successories.com.  I was a young girl, only 17, and just looking for a job.  When I took the job, I did not think much of it (oh, a store with a bunch of posters. woot).  Slowly, I began to absorb the products around me and realized, no, this isn’t just a store, it’s a MOTIVATIONAL store!

Quickly, I was wowed by all the positive energy surrounding me, and with my “rah rah rah” attitude, I became a cheerleader for motivation!  The store and its energy compelled me to motivate other people, keep a positive attitude, and my experience there has helped shape me into who I am today.

One of my favorite quotes (very simple), is “Your attitude, almost always determines your altitude in life.”

Wow. Linger on that for a moment.  Cherish those words. Repeat them over and over again.

Okay, you can think about the economy again.  But this time, think positive!  Develop that recession-proof attitude!  Become a cheerleader of all that is good, and don’t worry so much!

Or maybe worry more, but do it constructively.  This is the time when you should be building.  Get creative.  It is times like these beautiful new dreams are built.

Think of it as a plane, and the economy as a flight.  When the economy is ready to fly, you better have the plane built!
