So, being slightly new to Twitter (guess not so much anymore), I wonder aloud, has anyone ever hooked up in the Twitterverse?
I thought about it to myself and wondered if I would ever consider dating someone on Twitter? (Strangely, this thought originated from my conversation with @TheDailyBlonde in a discussion over Lobster and the East Coast).
Would you ever consider dating someone on Twitter?
I would. Some might ask why.
Well, first off, Twitter is not junky like Myspace- no random weirdos adding you (occasionally the spammer here and there), but you are talking to people in your profession, people talking about what they love and you love most, sometimes you may feel peopel inthe Twitterverse understand you more than your co-worker sitting a mere 5 feet away. Twitter is not even like Facebook, which I use strictly for friends and different netowrks such as Girls in Tech, and not for “meeting” anyone online.
In my short experience of tweeting, I realize that as my network grows, everyone knows everyone. It’s such a beautiful world out there, to hear everyone tweeting about things I love and things I care about (business, marketing, social media, food, wine, etc). It’s beautiful to hear people tweeting about how they’re helping the world out. It’s beautiful to see people contributing to charities, going green, being positive all day (I mean, this whole #warmsmiles thing is so cute). I absolutely love it!
Oh Twitter, how I love thee so…
So, how about you? Have you hooked up in the Tworld? Would you hook up in the Tworld? A curious kitten wants to know. :)
