Mike is founder and CEO of Thingfo, Inc. a content management system for the social web. Prior to
founding Thingfo, Mike spent 5 years at Yahoo!, Inc. where he built blogging and social media tools used
by Yahoo properties around the world. Mike launched the first consumer-focused blog on Yahoo!, and
evangelized social media and agile product development across the company. His last team was awarded
the Yahoo “platform builder award”. Prior to Yahoo, Mike worked at startups focusing on content,
community and personalization technologies.
Why bootstrapping has been succesful for Thingfo to date. Thoughts on navigating the landscape of big

Concept
LiveUmbrella began with humble beginnings when a few friends got together and decided it was their mission in life to bring utility, fun, and sharing to the internet in the form of web applications!
With the launch of our first web application, Giftomi, in late March and our first LiveUmbrella event Friday, May 1, 2009, the world just seems endless with possibilities of excitement and engagement online!
As for development, we are currently in stealth mode, but we promise more coming soon… one app at a time!
